This is a ShoutWiki help page, hosted at ShoutWiki Hub. If you want to suggest changes, leave a message on its talk page. If you want to replace this page with a custom help page for your wiki, click the create button above.

Any logged in user on ShoutWiki can customize the design of any ShoutWiki site through their personal stylesheet subpages. This allows you to view your own choice of fonts, colours, positions of links in the margins, and many other things.

To customize how site looks for you, create and edit User:user_name/style.css, where user_name is your user name, and style is the site skin set in your preferences. The skin name is usually in lowercase, though there are some exceptions to this rule, but it will never contain spaces. For example, your personal stylesheet for Cologne Blue skin would be at Special:MyPage/cologneblue.css. You can also reach the same page via the links on your preferences page.

By default, all users may choose any style from the following:

  • Aurora
  • Bouquet
  • Cologne Blue
  • DeskMessMirrored
  • Dusk
  • DuskToDawn
  • Gamepress
  • MinervaNeue
  • Modern
  • Monaco
  • Monobook
  • Nimbus
  • Timeless
  • Truglass
  • Vector

Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is used to style and format content on ShoutWiki in a number of ways — however, the actual syntax of CSS is beyond the scope of this document. For most people, however, copying and pasting code is sufficient enough to render the required experience.
